Update on Fearless Girl

State Street Global Advisors placed the Fearless Girl, a bronze sculpture by Kristen Visbal, at Bowling Green in Manhattan’s financial district on the eve of International Women’s Day in 2017. The Fearless Girl symbolizes State Street’s call to action for companies to increase gender diversity on their corporate boards. Since the sculpture was installed, State Street reports seeing solid progress on board diversity and further expanded a call to action to other markets. State Street will provide an update on the ongoing interest in the Fearless Girl and their continued efforts and the results at the conference.

Farewell Reception

The conference will conclude on Friday evening with a closing reception in Alexandra’s on the 32nd floor of the Westin St. Francis. With floor-to-ceiling windows and skyline views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, Alexandra’s has been called “the most spectacular special event venue in Northern California.” Closing speaker Michele Norris will be in attendance to talk with delegates and answer questions.
