Andrea Turner Moffitt

Andrea Turner Moffitt is a cofounder of Plum Alley Investments, a private investment platform committed to increasing the base of capital for gender-diverse teams while creating an engaging experience for a broader base of investors. She has also served as an investment banker and a hedge fund analyst. Additionally, Ms. Turner Moffitt is the author of the book Harness the Power of the Purse: Winning Women Investors, the culmination of nearly three years of research across six countries, conducted in partnership with the Center for Talent Innovation, where she serves as senior adviser. She is a thought leader whose research unpacks insights into women as investors, including demand around aligning their values and their investments, and whose work has been featured in Forbes, the Harvard Business Review, Inc., Fortune, NPR, and the Wall Street Journal, among other media outlets. Ms. Turner Moffitt serves as cochair of the Social Enterprise Alumni Circle at Columbia Business School. She holds a BA from Tulane University and is a graduate of Columbia Business School and the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs.
