Suni P. Harford

Suni P. Harford is a managing director and regional head of markets for North America at Citigroup Inc., where she oversees the North American sales, trading, and origination businesses of Citi’s securities and banking franchise. Prior to her current assignment, she served as the global head of fixed-income research and the cohead of fixed-income capital markets origination at Citi and Salomon Brothers. Ms. Harford joined the markets division of Salomon Brothers after working in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. She is a member of Citi’s pension plan investment committee and a director on the board of Citibank Canada, and she has served as cohead of Citigroup’s global women’s initiative, Citi Women. Ms. Harford serves on the board of directors of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and on several nonprofit boards, including Friends of Hudson River Park, Taproot Foundation, and the Forte Foundation, a national organization dedicated to increasing the number of women leaders in business. She represents Citi as a founding member of Veterans on Wall Street and is the recipient of the Outstanding Civilian Service Award from the United States Army. Ms. Harford holds a BS in physics and math from Denison University, and she is a graduate of the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
